Kerry O'Brien, DNP, PMHNP-BC is a doctorally prepared Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in women’s mental health, with a particular focus on the unique emotional and psychological experiences of women in midlife. 

She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Georgetown University and holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Johns Hopkins University and a Master's degree in Nursing from Maryville University. 

The majority of her psychiatric career was spent at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and The Johns Hopkins University, where she developed extensive clinical and academic expertise in psychiatric care. Most recently, she practiced at NYU Langone Health’s Center for Women’s Health, further deepening her focus on women’s mental health.

Her approach recognizes that midlife can bring significant transitions—including changes in mood, anxiety, sleep, relationships, work, and overall well-being. She is committed to creating a supportive, collaborative environment where women feel heard, understood, and empowered in their mental health care.
